BAR PROTHESIS

There are several solutions to treat complete tooth loss. One commonly used version is a fixed denture, which is a denture that is fixed on implants but can still be removed.

To create a replacement, 4 implants are required. A metal frame (which is the prosthesis itself) fixed to the four implants in the lower (or upper) jawbone stabilises the denture.

The great advantage of this solution is that the denture resembles a removable bridge, but is held in place by the bridge. The prosthesis is easy to clean and has a good chance of being used in cases of major bone loss.
